Joanne McAnis specializes in helping clients meet their real estate goals, diversify their investment portfolios and meet the challenges of a changing world.

Joanne formed Counsel Realty in 2009.  With her extensive background in real estate and corporate matters, her clients range from individuals to developers, entreprensuers and property management firms.  She assists clients using both business insight and legal expertise to manage a deal from inception through execution.  As legal counsel, she puts her experience to work for her clients at an unparalleled value.

Joanne spent over ten years with Duke Realty, one of the largest office and industrial real estate companies in the United States.  As corporate counsel, she negotiated leases, worked on development deals and closed acquisitions totalling over $250 million.  She served as a Vice President of the company, leading a business development group for more than six years. 

At Taft, Stettinius & Hollister, Joanne spent the first five years of her career helping clients pursue the American dream by buying, selling and building companies.
